Case study

Enduratec

Drawing-controlled repeat production with batch data

Enduratec

Customer requirement

Repeatable manufacture from controlled information

Enduratec required repeatable components produced from controlled drawing information, with clear small-format identification and batch-number data supplied separately.

Challenge

Keep geometry, data and downstream needs aligned

The marking needed to remain clear and legible at the required size, while the controlled geometry, batch data, agreed finishing and downstream presswork and assembly requirements stayed aligned for repeat production.

GT Laser solution

A controlled route from DXF and Excel data

GT Laser worked from the approved DXF geometry and structured Excel batch information, provided sample and blank feedback, incorporated the agreed deburring and rumbled finish, and maintained the approved marking position for the repeat batch.

Manufacturing process

Marked and finished for downstream assembly

Drawing-controlled metal component supply combined with laser marking and Excel batch data, producing finished, identified components ready for downstream assembly.

Result

Initial production followed by a repeat order

The completed 2023 production was followed by a repeat order in 2025. Enduratec reported clear etching and strong component quality, and found the Excel-based batch-number workflow particularly useful.
