Customer problem
Industrial identification often needs clear data, consistent presentation and a production route that can be repeated across a batch or future order.
GT Laser solution
GT Laser turns drawings, artwork and approved data into manufactured identification products. From sequential asset IDs to a different QR code on every component, the production route is selected around the required mark, material, finish, quantity and intended use.
Stainless steel (304 or 316), anodised aluminium, engraving laminate and acrylic offer different combinations of durability, weight, appearance and cost. Choose around the environment, corrosion exposure, required mark and fixing. 316 is an option for demanding conditions; the application determines the material.
Custom valve identification for plant, pipework and industrial systems. Specify valve numbers, service, line or equipment references, operational wording and QR or Data Matrix codes where useful. Stainless steel, anodised aluminium and engraving laminate can suit different environments. Material, finish and fixing are agreed for the actual installation.
Identification tags and markers attached to cables or cable groups carry cable numbers, circuit IDs, equipment references and QR or Data Matrix codes where space and readability permit. The information is marked on a separate tag, which is attached to the cable or cable group.

Suitability, material compatibility, finish and limitations are confirmed during quotation. The following information helps establish the right route.
Practical guidance
Include the application, dimensions, quantity, material preference, artwork or drawing, changing data, fixing method, target date and whether the requirement is one-off or repeat. If a detail is unknown, explain how and where the finished item will be used.
Yes, for suitable products. Each item can contain a different approved URL or code value while retaining a common layout, material and production specification.
304 is a common general-purpose stainless grade. 316 is often considered for wetter, harsher or more exposed environments because of its greater corrosion resistance. Final suitability depends on the actual exposure, finish, thickness and fixing.
Depending on the product, options may include no fixing, self-adhesive backing, drilled holes, stand-off holes or another mechanical arrangement. The material, environment and mounting surface determine suitability.
GT Laser can perform agreed scan checks. Code size, contrast, clear space, finish, lighting, device behaviour and the installed environment can affect performance, so the required verification scope should be agreed before production.
Normally, where the approved artwork, drawing and production information remain available. Material availability, current specification and any requested changes are confirmed when the repeat is requested.
Send the drawing, artwork or required data with the intended material, quantity and application.
