Customer problem
A product or component requirement may combine drawings, artwork, supplied data, several production processes and controlled batch requirements that an in-house team cannot complete efficiently.
GT Laser solution
GT Laser can operate as an extension of your manufacturing capability: reviewing the requirement, drawing, sample or artwork; producing a prototype or proof where appropriate; refining the agreed route; and supporting small-batch or repeat production. Custom metal components can be supplied to specification and marked as required.
Named case study
From DXF geometry and Excel batch information through sample review, agreed finishing and clear marking to repeat production in 2025.

Suitability, material compatibility, finish and limitations are confirmed during quotation. The following information helps establish the right route.
Product development
Where a requirement is not yet production-ready, GT Laser can discuss practical material, process, fixing and production considerations, produce a prototype or proof where appropriate, and refine the agreed route before repeat manufacture. This is manufacturing support, not a general engineering consultancy service.
Practical guidance
DXF is accepted by the current upload route and is useful for controlled geometry. DWG is not accepted by the online uploader, so contact GT Laser before submission if DWG is the only source. Include dimensions, material, quantity and marking position.
Yes. GT Laser can identify obvious production issues during preflight. Substantial tracing, recreation or design development may require additional work, which is confirmed before it is undertaken.
Potentially. A representative sample, exact prototype or short test batch may be recommended depending on the material, process, risk and production quantity.
Potentially, after the material, composition, geometry, finish and process have been reviewed. Unknown plastics or composites should not be sent for laser processing without a specification or supplier datasheet. A sample, test piece or spare may be requested.
Normally, where the approved artwork, drawing and production information remain available. Material availability, current specification and any requested changes are confirmed when the repeat is requested.
Where the production plan makes it appropriate, a first-off item or photograph can form part of the agreed approval process. The scope and effect on timing are confirmed for the job.
Share the requirement, drawing, artwork or production brief so we can establish the information needed for quotation.
